Smart Park™ uses discreet ultrasonic sensors mounted in your bumper bar to give you real-time monitoring of the distance between your car and any object you may be parking toward, both front & rear. As the distance closes, you will hear different beeping tones (or see different coloured lights), alerting you to any potential obstacle and giving you an accurate distance to that obstacle. Smart Park™ is comprised of a Control Unit, 2 ultrasonic sensors per bumper (rear or front & rear), hidden internal speakers to alert the driver audibly and an optional LED display to alert the driver visibly. Smart Park™ is designed to be unnoticeable until required and the sensors are designed to be aesthetically pleasing in the bumper bars.
 
Smart Park™ takes the guesswork out of parking and reduces the amount of minor accidents associated with low speed vehicle manoeuvring. In an age where bumper bars are no longer used for bumping, Smart Park™ allows the driver to accurately operate the vehicle in close proximity to objects both in view and hidden without fear of collision. This is particularly useful for certain vehicle types such as Four Wheel Drives, Light Commercials and Mini-Vans. It is also useful for people with reduced visibility due to poor sight, flexibility, low body height or simply people uncomfortable with judging parking distances.

Safety

An area of great concern is vehicle-pedestrian collision, particularly with regard to children. Smart Park™ will detect anything more substantial than a broomstick that is in the vehicles path. This gives the driver sufficient warning to stop the vehicle prior to impact. The chance of such a tragedy is dramatically reduced with the use of Smart Park™.
